Happy Mother’s Day!
Today Mother’s day is celebrated in Mexico, El Salvador, and Guatemala, so to celebrate we wrote some poems and messages to our own moms. Thank you for all you do and for the love you give unconditionally. Thank you to the moms of LXTP for giving us some amazing artists! A day is not enough to show all our appreciation, but we hope this gives some.
A mother is many things:
Unheard for the care they bring
Uncharted love for moments bright
Embraced by the moon’s delight
Caressed til morning breathes life
Her spirit grows to engulf any black holes
Gravity pulls at her heels
But she perseveres
True of soul
The earth is our mother
We step on her back every day
And she’s yet to stop carrying us
What a pity not to love mother #1
If you're a mother you’re a lover
A lover of seeing the best in one another
A world of mothers is a world unlike others

It should be more than just a day of flowers being brought to your bedside
More than a card that tells you “Thank You” for a dollar
Creating the reason why I’m here to today and showing guidance on how to be the best for the
kids
Showing me what true love looks like made me excited to find my soulmate and treat her like
queen
I will not forget how grandpa would stare at you like it was just first time restring his eyes on
yours
“My reason why” he said to me
Grandma was the one that would gas me up the most
Blame her next time you see me on the dance floor grooving like I can’t no more
As a kid she made sure I was untouchable and would preach how I was god’s biggest blessing
but don’t get me wrong I have a bunch of cousins she made sure they felt the same way
I’m just saying I would love to count up my “Surprise” McDonald’s visits, numbers don’t lie
You are one of my biggest motivations my reason why my hustle is where it’s at
I have this courage were I know I can provide for my family no matter what
I appreciate home cooked meals a whole different way than others
You are the sunshine that sets over my world
I don’t care how old I get... I will always be safe in your arms

To the mom that taught me cartwheels and splits make everything better
