Raíces|Roots: Arkansas New Play Festival at TheatreSquared

Our newest play is still in development and got some extra special attention at T2’s Arkansas New Play Festival in June. We have plans to produce the full productiton in April so come travel through time and all four seasons in a garden of poetry and music. Raíces|Roots features stories about the resilience, growth and liberation found in a community's collective raíces or roots.

Rhythm y Más at Crystal Bridges

Rhythm y Más is a collection of LatinX Theatre Project’s original songs, scenes, and poems handpicked to keep spirits high and hold down the beat. It was developed in collaboration with Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and En Fuego Dance & Fitness. AND a surprise performance by Michael and Melody frorm 3levated Dance. Rhythm y Más turned out to feel more like a concert than a play and it was so much fun! Hopefully we do it again soon and we see you there!

Bilingual Story-time with Más Libritos Bookstore

We had the best time creating and performin this truly colorful piece for the niños! We partnered with Diana Dominguez, owner of Más Libritos to bring the book, Isabel and Her Colores Go to School by Alexandra Alessandri to life. Kiddos left with free books and tasty treats from Springdale’s delicious, Bites and Bowls. Stay tuned on this show too! We’re hoping to bring it back soon.

New Faces in Season 7!

Meet our new LXTP Ensemble Members, Patricia Rodriguez & Tricia Wheatley. We’re so grateful to have them join the team and can’t wait to create new work in this new season!
