Thank you for joining us!

Welcome!

Thank you for coming out to see our show! Holy Waters is the latest full-length play by LatinX Theatre Project (LXTP).

LatinX Theatre Project is in its seventh season. The group advocates for social change by creating ensemble-made, multi-disciplinary performances that uplift and unite under-represented communities throughout Northwest Arkansas.

Holy Waters was developed over the last year and was originally titled Raices|Roots. It began by examining how the books we read, the music we listen to, historical figures, popular culture, and the people in our lives help cultivate our growth, and how, as members of underrepresented communities, those guiding forces are sometimes overlooked and rarely celebrated. Holy Waters seeks to celebrate these powerful elements. We hope you experience these stories of resilience, growth, and liberation found in humans and gods alike and feel more connected to this space we all share.

A special thank you…

LatinX Theatre Project would like to take a moment to thank Dany Martinez for sharing their vision, spirit, and poetry to HOLY WATERS. Their ideas sparked the play that you are about to watch. We are deeply appreciative of the seeds they planted and hope they’re proud of the roots that grew.
